Manny Gomez, Associate Pastor
Manny Gomez is the Associate Pastor at Living Way C.F. In Hemet CA. He was a man who lived as a gang member for several years of his life. Growing up in a gang infested area in Los Angeles county, Manny was drawn to that lifestyle, spending most of those years in and out of jail. On more than a few occasions he almost lost his life after being shot and stabbed several times, all behind gang violence.
His encounters with the law were getting to a breaking point, where he faced a possible three strikes case on three different occasions. It was only by the mercies of God that two of those cases were dropped, and he took a plea bargain of three years for one of those cases. Although the gang violence had almost completely stopped after his release, he was still selling drugs and drinking daily.
It was around this time that he began going to Church only to appease his wife, that on one Sunday he responded to the drawing of the Holy Spirit by weeping and crying out to God. Soon after, though, he found himself continuing in his old lifestyle.
After a few years of family issues, strained relationships and brushes with the law, he found himself in custody again in L.A.C. Twin Towers. It was there, inside the concrete walls, where Manny had his supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ.
That was the day Manny wholeheartedly responded and repented of his sins and has never looked back. He has fervently served the Lord Jesus Christ since that day.
Manny has lead several men's Bible studies, home Bible studies, marriage studies, New Believers classes, street evangelism teams, youth groups. He has always proven to be a devoted and committed leader to whatever the Lord puts before him. Today Manny is happily married to his beautiful wife Alicia and their marriage has been fully restored. He is blessed with five beautiful children and two grandchildren, Ashley, Johnny, Nathan, Mandi, Daniel, Maliah, and Micah, and his son-in-law Rick.
Manny has been called to serve God as a Pastor and Preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a passion for God's Word, a love for God's people, a commitment to God's work, and a desire to reach the lost, by fully depending on the power of the Holy Spirit.
